Biltar Tarım İşletmeleri performs orange cultivation on a land of 347 decares. Biltar, with its average annual orange cultivation capacity of 154,122 kg, enhances the products’ market value through ensuring efficient conditions in the market. Moreover, Biltar cultivates oranges, a fruit recommended for cultivation in the Çukurova region for its climate, in the Ceyhan district of Adana, and exports its products. Owning 17,322 orange trees, Biltar strives to improve itself in the agriculture area, keeps track of the latest technologies, and thus continues to develop.

Orange tree is a member of the citrus family, known for the hardness, resistance and flat edges of its leaves, and its fruit rich in vitamin C. Under its peel, there is a yellowish (red in some species), juicy and sliced fruit. Orange essence is produced from its peel. It is used in pharmacy and food industries. Orange flower essence is produced from its flowers.
